As part of your approval process, we'll ask you to upload a form of ID. Here's some guidance on the types of ID we accept.
Accepted Forms of Photo ID
To be accepted, your ID needs to show:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Photo
You can still use an ID that’s out of date as long as it still looks like you, and your name and date of birth haven’t changed.
Examples of ID that could be accepted if the above conditions are met:
- Driving licence issued by the UK, any of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, or an EEA state (including a provisional driving licence)
- Passport issued by the UK, any of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, a British Overseas Territory, an EEA state or a Commonwealth country (including an Irish Passport Card)
- Identity card bearing the Proof of Age Standards Scheme hologram (a PASS card)
- Biometric immigration document
- Ministry of Defence Form 90 (Defence Identity Card)
- National identity card issued by an EEA state
