There are a few different ways you can arrange a blood donation or venesection in the UK:
Through the NHS Blood Donation Service
You can book directly with the NHS via their website:
https://www.blood.co.uk/
This is suitable if you meet the NHS eligibility criteria for blood donation.
Private venesection providers
You can arrange a venesection privately. The link below lists trusted providers across the UK, which may have earlier availability than NHS services:

Through your GP or NHS clinic
You can contact your GP practice to ask whether it’s possible to arrange venesection through the NHS. Please note that waiting times can sometimes be longer with this route.
If your GP or hospital requires a referral, we can provide a venesection support letter to help with your request. Just let us know and we’ll be happy to arrange this for you.
